My new body of work in-progress is inspired by the landscape and light of my immediate surroundings in Amagansett, New York. Since 2022, I have lived in a part-time residence situated between the Atlantic Ocean and a nature preserve. Using my 8x10-inch view camera, I explore notions of resilience, hope, and kinship—themes that have been integral to my 25-year creative practice. Final images are 8x10-inch contact prints that I make in the color darkroom.
